Points are based on how you finish in your divisional field per tournament
You must finish the tournament to receive any points.
Tournaments played outside your local chapter will ONLY count toward your local chapter's POY race not the chapter's tournament you just played.
Each division will crown a POY
Per the USGA the winner can not receive more than a $1,000 prize. Trophies and symbolic prizes do not count towards the $1,000 limit - amateur status rule 3
